Blockhouse Flora

“Blockhouse Flora” is my largest-scale Isles of Scilly painting, and a central work in this collection. Inspired by May days exploring Blockhouse Beach with my son, it holds the memory of sunshine spilling across turquoise waters, wildflowers breaking into bloom, and the quiet joy of discovery along the shoreline.

This painting celebrates the brilliance of Scilly in spring;  where shifting light meets untamed flora; a place alive with colour, warmth, and the sense of return that anchors the whole collection.

Acrylic painting- 1.5m x 1m, framed in wooden white tray frame.
